Position Overview:
Assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department. Surgical Technologist participates as a member of the perioperative team. The Surgical Technologist performs direct and indirect perioperative tasks for patients having surgical procedures. The primary focus of this position is the scrub person role.

Pay Range: $33.00-59.00 depends on experience.

Skills & Qualifications

Education:
Completion of a formal accredited Surgical Technologist program or similar training preferred.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

CST-Certified Surgical Technologist (not required)

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic technique, equipment, and supplies.

Requires communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
